Webguy.tech provides professional WordPress support, backups, and security monitoring to reduce risk and keep your site running smoothly.

We are not a 24/7 emergency service, and we cannot guarantee that websites will never experience downtime, hacking attempts, or third-party issues.

We manage and reduce risk — we do not eliminate it.

Free migrations apply to standard WordPress sites. More complex websites (eCommerce, memberships, multisite, or heavily customized sites) may require additional work.

We are not responsible for issues caused by hosting providers, third-party plugins, external vendors, or actions taken outside of our managed systems.

If something goes wrong, we work to fix it. But we cannot guarantee business outcomes, search rankings, revenue performance, or protection from all possible technical failures.

If you ever have questions, just ask. We believe in clear communication and realistic expectations.

Terms Of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Webguy.tech (“we,” “our,” or “the Service”). By subscribing to or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

  1. Services Provided

Webguy.tech provides WordPress support, maintenance, backup management, security monitoring, and related website services as described on our website.

Services are subscription-based unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  1. Service Availability

Webguy.tech is not a 24/7 emergency response service.

Support requests are handled during normal business hours. While we aim to respond promptly, response times are not guaranteed unless specified in a written agreement.

  1. Restore Services

The advertised 24-hour restore service applies only to active subscription clients.

Restore timeframes begin once:

  • A support request has been submitted, and
  • Required access credentials have been verified.

Restore services apply only to backups maintained within our managed systems.

  1. Website Migration

Free migration applies to standard WordPress websites only.

Free migration does not include:

  • WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms
  • Membership systems
  • WordPress Multisite installations
  • Custom-coded applications
  • Large or highly complex websites

Sites requiring additional time or technical work will be quoted separately before work begins.

  1. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current access credentials
  • Maintain active hosting and domain registration
  • Maintain appropriate licensing for themes and plugins
  • Notify us before installing new plugins, themes, or custom code
  • Maintain legal and appropriate website content

Failure to provide required access or maintain hosting integrity may delay services.

  1. Third-Party Services

Webguy.tech is not responsible for issues arising from:

  • Hosting providers
  • Domain registrars
  • Email providers
  • Payment processors
  • Third-party plugins or themes
  • WordPress core updates
  • External security breaches
  • Actions taken by third-party developers or vendors

We do not guarantee compatibility or long-term functionality of third-party software.

  1. Data & Troubleshooting

While reasonable care is taken during troubleshooting and maintenance, Webguy.tech is not responsible for:

  • Data loss
  • Corrupted files
  • Lost content
  • Plugin conflicts
  • Database errors
  • Temporary website downtime
  • SEO impact during maintenance or troubleshooting

Clients are encouraged to maintain independent backups where appropriate.

  1. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Webguy.tech does not guarantee:

  • Prevention of all hacking attempts
  • Continuous uptime
  • Search engine rankings
  • Business revenue or performance
  • Protection from all cyber threats

Website management reduces risk but does not eliminate risk.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Webguy.tech shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of revenue
  • Business interruption
  • Data loss
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for services in the thirty (30) days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

  1. Payments & Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed as outlined on the website at the time of purchase.

Failure to maintain active payment may result in suspension of services.

  1. Termination

Either party may terminate services at any time.

Upon termination:

  • Ongoing monitoring and backups will cease.
  • Access to managed systems may be removed.
  • Any additional work requested after termination will be billed separately.
  1. Modifications

Webguy.tech reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
