Another Happy Client – And Disaster Averted.

A new client signed up complaining his site started to act funny and really started to run up bandwidth.

We set him up, pulled a copy of his site into a staging area and did what we do. Our security scan found the issue, we cleaned out the hack and re-scanned the site.

Turns out the client had an abandoned mail plugin, and the hack was using him to spoof emails. Simple as 1 -2 – 3. 

Just another day at work for us. Best part is, we saved this client hundreds of dollars in recovery and potential loss.
